Which Turnaround/ Ships In do I need?
Same Day Printing offers a variety of fast printing options to help you balance deadlines and budget. Available turnarounds may vary by printed product line. If you order multiple printed items in 1 transaction, your job will dispatch based on the longest turnaround item, so if you need some items sooner, remember to process them as separate orders.
Note: There is a 10am cut-off for all services except emergency printing services.
To allow for adequate planning, each service has a 10am cut-off for your job to hit production. This requires
1) payment to have been received, and
2) print ready artwork to have been uploaded or signed off by 10am.
If you need assistance with your artwork, or your artwork is deemed not print ready, your selected turnaround time starts from when it is signed off, so remember to allow for this.
Emergency Printing Service
If you need your job printed faster than the Same Day service allows, we do have emergency printing services. To enquire, please email your requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Emergency Service" in your subject line.
Same Day Dispatch Service
Pay and supply print ready art by 10am for pickup/dispatch by 3pm. Orders confirmed after 10am will be completed within 8 business hours, from receipt of print ready art and payment. Need it faster? See Emergency Printing Service.
Example: Confirmed payment & print ready art by 10am Monday, Dispatch by 3pm Monday.
Next Business Day Dispatch Service
Pay and supply print ready art by 10am for pickup/dispatch by 1pm the next business day. Orders confirmed after 10am will be available for pickup/dispatch by 1pm in 2 business days.
Example: In by 10am Monday/ Dispatch by 1pm Tuesday. In by 10.05am Monday/ Dispatch by 1pm Wednesday.
3 Business Days Dispatch Service
Pay and supply print ready art by 10am for pickup/dispatch by 1pm in 3 business days. Orders confirmed after 10am will be available for pickup/dispatch by 1pm on the 4th business day.
Example: In by 10am Monday/ Dispatch by 1pm Thursday. In by 10.05am Monday/ Dispatch by 1pm Friday.
5 Business Days Dispatch Service
10am Cut Off Time – Pay and supply print ready art by 10am for pickup/dispatch by COB in 5 business days. Orders confirmed after 10am will be available for pickup/dispatch by COB on the 6th business day.
Example: In by 10am Monday/ Dispatch by COB the following Monday. In by 10.05am Monday/ Dispatch by COB the following Tuesday.
Which Design option do I need?
Same Day Printing offers a range of design options to suit your needs. Keep in mind your nominated "Turnaround"" starts from the time print-ready art is approved for your order. Each design service as an estimated turnaround for the initial check/design and each revision. You will need to allow time for this if you have a deadline. For instance, if you need your items in 3 business days, but require design, you may need to select Next Business Day print turnaround to allow time to receive, review, and approve your design prior to print.
If supplying your own artwork, please ensure it meets all requirements as detailed in the downloadable templates on this page, or listed in our Artwork Guidelines.
My artwork is print ready
You request production proceeds without file checks, and acknowledge that you will be responsible for checking that your supplied files are correct as per our Artwork Guidelines. This means we can print and deliver your jobs in the fastest time possible. This option is only recommended for graphic designers with print experience. Same Day Printing cannot accept responsibility for errors caused by incorrectly set up files, and any reprints will be at the clients expense.

Includes: 1 round of File Check & Make-Ready, of supplied PDF print file/s, as outlined here > Check Artwork; Either an email confirming files are press-ready & have been put to production, or if needed, notification of any required updates.

Emergency Upgrade*: This $33 priority option reduces time required to 30 minutes.
Update my editable Adobe file
Includes: 1 round of text updates, to an editable Adobe Illustrator, Indesign or Photoshop file; a PDF proof for sign-off prior to printing; & upon request a copy of your print ready file. Does not include layout changes or any additional revisions. Additional revisions from $33.
Additional time required: Initial Design: 4 hours / Revisions: 2 hours
Emergency Upgrade*: This $49 priority option reduces time required to Initial Design: 30 minutes / Revisions: 30 minutes
Layout basic artwork for me
Includes: 1 basic layout with supplied assets (images, logos, custom fonts); up to 1 round of revisions; a PDF proof for sign-off prior to printing; and upon request a copy of your print ready file. Additional revisions from $33.
Additional time required: Initial Design: 4 hours / Revisions: 2 hours
Emergency Upgrade*: This $66 priority option reduces time required to Initial Design: 2 hours / Revisions: 30 minutes.
Create a new design for me
Includes: 1 design; up to 2 rounds of revision; a PDF proof for sign-off prior to printing; and upon request a copy of your print ready file. Additional revisions from $33.
Additional time required: Initial Design: 8 hours / Revisions: 4 hours
Emergency Upgrade*: This $66 priority option reduces time required to Initial Design: 4 hours / Revisions: 1 hour.
*Emergency Upgrades: must be requested in advance by phone (03) 8361 3699; are only available where the design team has capacity to meet your deadline; may be invoiced separate to your online order; payment is required prior to processing your order. Client to supply all content and vector or high resolution image assets in electronic format. Stated hours are Business Hours. Pricing does not include logo creation or similar, illustration, supply of images, font purchase, re-typing content and/or copy-writing services - these can be provided, and as each client’s requirements are unique pricing is provided on request.
What does Kinds or Multiple Sets mean?
If you just have 1 item to print, select 1 from this dropdown menu.
If you want to print more than 1 kind of artwork with the all the same options (size/ stock/ colour/ artwork/ quantity etc.), then you may be eligible for a quantity discount. Rather than processing each item separately you can nominate how many kinds/ sets of artwork you have. For example, if you have 4 sets of postcards and want 50 of each, you would enter the Quantity: 50 and Kinds: 4. Once your print order is confirmed, if supplying print ready art, you will be asked to upload each set of artwork separately.
What are my Delivery Options?
Custom Printing Delivery Options
Freight is calculated once you have added all print items to your cart and proceed to checkout, but below is a guide as to what you can choose from.
You are more than welcome to pop-in and pick-up your custom printed order personally, or arrange someone to pick up for you. There is no charge for pick-up.

Delivery is approx. 4 hours from dispatch*. Available for items dispatched by 1 pm.

UBER Direct - Melbourne Metro
If you need it sooner, try an UBER. If time is particularly short, we can organise an UBER delivery, or you can organise an UBER pick up from us. UBER prices vary dependant on dispatch time and date, travel time and any wait time at the delivery point, so if we are organising your UBER delivery, the estimated cost will be invoiced separately to your order, and requires payment prior to dispatch and someone to meet the driver at the street.
If UBER charge is more than the estimate, the variation in cost will be charged to your credit card. If you are organising an UBER pickup, you need to call us when the UBER is approximately 2 minutes away, with the make and number plate of the vehicle.
*Same Day Courier is generally up to 4 hours from dispatch to the city or western suburbs, however delivery times do fluctuate with seasonal events and weather. Unfortunately, as with all courier solutions, we have no control over delivery once dispatched. If you require your delivery before COB or by a specific time we recommend pick-up or UBER. For interstate deliveries we can only guarantee to dispatch on time. While over 96% of our deliveries arrive on schedule, we cannot guarantee there will be no courier delays.

When ready to check out, click the cart icon to continue to checkout.

- Click Next, and let us know your email address, and when we receive your enquiry, one of our team will email pricing and options - usually within less than 1 business hour, unless you have ultra custom requirements. If you need pricing sooner, give us a call so we can help to prioritise your pricing.
- Once you confirm your order via email or over the phone, we'll email an invoice and you can pay online, over the phone, in person or via eft. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX.
