Sustainable Paper Options

We are proud to offer two primary types of eco-conscious paper for sustainable printing options:

Sustainable Paper:

  • 100% Virgin Fiber: This paper is crafted from responsibly sourced virgin fibers. Importantly, it supports local communities affected by deforestation and protects wildlife.
  • Resource Efficiency: Remarkably, every part of the tree is utilised. The wood is chipped for easier pulping, bark is repurposed, and the entire chemical pulping process is self-sufficient, converting waste into fuel.
  • High-Quality Production: The resulting pulp is processed into fine fibers, which are then cleaned, whitened, pressed, and polished to create high-grade, sustainable paper.
  • Cost-Effective: Due to fewer resource-intensive processes, sustainable paper offers a more cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.

Recycled Paper:

  • Eco-Friendly Recycling: Recycled stock is made from old or used materials, giving them new life as high-quality printing stock. This process helps reduce the need for cutting down new trees and keeps waste out of landfills.
  • Intensive Production: The production of recycled paper involves additional steps, such as sorting, soaking, and cleaning, to ensure it meets our rigorous standards. This thorough process makes recycled paper a slightly more expensive option.
  • Environmental Impact: Despite the higher cost, recycled paper is an excellent choice for those prioritising sustainability, as it significantly reduces environmental impact.

Uncoated Paper: A Sustainable Choice

We actively promote the use of uncoated stocks for sustainable printing options. Uncoated paper not only provides a natural, tactile finish that enhances the aesthetic appeal of your printed products, but it is also much easier to recycle compared to coated paper. Additionally, uncoated paper does not have the glossy or matte coating that can complicate the recycling process.

By choosing uncoated stocks, you’re opting for a more eco-friendly option that aligns with our commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, uncoated paper requires fewer chemicals and less energy during the production process, further reducing its environmental footprint. Moreover, the absence of coatings means that uncoated paper breaks down more readily in recycling facilities, making it a more sustainable choice for both everyday printing and premium products.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Same Day Printing, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond words—it's ingrained in every aspect of our operations. From utilising renewable energy to offering eco-friendly materials like recycled and sustainable paper, we strive to minimise our environmental impact while delivering high-quality products. By choosing our services, you’re not only receiving exceptional printing but also contributing to a greener future. Together, we can make a positive difference, one print at a time.

Thank you for joining us on this journey toward a more sustainable world
