At Same Day Printing, we offer a range of turnaround times to suit your needs and budget – from same day to 7 business days.

Need multiple items?
If your order includes different products, everything will be dispatched based on the item with the longest turnaround. Need some sooner? Place them as separate orders, or contact us and we’ll help you work it out.

Important: Daily Cut-Off Times
To start production the same day, we must receive both payment and print-ready artwork by the cut-off time for your selected turnaround. If you need help with your artwork, production starts once it’s approved – so factor that into your timing.

  Submit print-ready files + payment by 10am.
  Ready by 3pm the same day.
  Example: In by 10am Monday → Ready by 3pm Monday.

• Next Business Day
  Submit by 12 noon.
  Ready by 3pm the next business day.
  Example: In by 12 noon Monday → Ready by 3pm Tuesday.

• 2 Business Days
  Submit by 2pm.
  Ready in 2 business days by 3pm.
  Example: In by 2pm Monday → Ready by 3pm Wednesday.

• 4 Business Days
  Submit by 2pm.
  Ready in 4 business days.
  Example: In by 2pm Monday → Ready by 3pm Friday.

• 7 Business Days
  Submit by 2pm.
  Ready in 7 business days.
  Example: In by 2pm Monday → Ready by COB next Wednesday.

We offer four levels of design support—whether you just need a quick check or a full custom design.

All options include:

• PDF proof for approval

Important: Print turnaround begins only once artwork is approved. If you’re working to a tight deadline, be sure to allow time for design and revisions.

1. Check My Artwork

We’ll review your supplied PDF file to ensure it is print-ready.

• One file check

• Time required: 1 hour (or 30 minutes with $33 emergency upgrade)

• No revisions included. If additional file checks are required, an artwork fee may apply.

2. Update My Adobe File

For quick text updates to your editable Adobe PDF, Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop file.

• One round of text edits

• Time required: 4 hours for initial design / 2 hours per revision

• Extra revisions available from $33

3. Layout Basic Artwork

We’ll lay out your supplied content and images in a clean, simple design.

• One basic layout using supplied images, logos and text

• Time required: 4 hours for initial design / 2 hours per revision

• Includes one round of revisions

4. Create New Design

We’ll create a custom design from scratch, based on your brief.

• One original design concept

• Time required: 8 hours for initial design / 4 hours per revision

• Includes two rounds of revisions

“Kinds” refers to the number of different designs within the same product order.

If your items are the same in size, shape, stock, and finish—but have different artwork—each design counts as a separate kind.

Why it matters:
Ordering multiple kinds together lets you take advantage of volume pricing. It’s more cost-effective than placing separate orders for each design.

Example:
You need 100 stickers—50 of Design A and 50 of Design B.
Because the size and material are the same, you can order this as 2 kinds in one job, which is cheaper than placing two separate 50-unit orders.

Freight costs are calculated at checkout after you’ve added all items to your cart. Below is a quick guide to available delivery options:

Next Business Day Courier

• Delivery to most metro areas across Australia

• From $15 (based on weight and location)

Road Express

• Standard delivery across Australia

• Arrival in 2–7 business days, depending on location

• From $15 (based on weight and location)

UBER Direct – Melbourne Metro
Need it urgently? We can arrange UBER delivery, or you can book a pickup.

• UBER is a direct, curbside delivery (not standard courier)

• Cost depends on timing, distance, and wait time

• If we arrange it:

  • You’ll be invoiced separately

  • Payment via credit card is required before dispatch

  • Any cost difference from the estimate will be charged to your card

• If you’re arranging pickup:

  • Select “Package” in the UBER app

  • Include your Job Number and Business Name in the notes

• *Same Day Courier aims for delivery within 4 hours to CBD/western suburbs, but times can vary due to weather or seasonal demand

• For time-critical deliveries, we recommend Pick-Up or UBER

• We guarantee to dispatch on time, but once in transit, delivery timing is outside our control

• Over 96% of deliveries arrive on schedule, but courier delays can still occur

Kraft stock cannot be laminated due to its natural texture. If you’d like a laminated finish, please select the Classic Circle Business Cards instead, which support a range of lamination options including matte, gloss, and velvet.

Absolutely, we’ve got more than just kraft business cards! We also offer an extensive range of other styles like die-cut, foiled, and folded business cards if you’re looking for something a bit different. Check our main menu or search bar for other business card options – or contact us to discuss your needs.

We don’t have a set minimum quantity—you can order just one if you like.

However, we do have a minimum order value to cover the fixed costs of setup, file checks, printing, finishing, and packing. These costs apply whether you’re ordering 1 or 1,000 items.

You can enter any quantity you need, but ordering more often lowers the cost per unit and gives you better value.

Yes, absolutely! The most cost-effective way is to order the same quantity for each person—this way, we can treat it as multiple kinds (different designs) within one print run.

Tip:
If one team member needs double the quantity, it can sometimes be cheaper to split their cards across two kinds.
For example, instead of ordering 1000 cards for one person and 4 kinds of 500 cards in another order, try pricing 6 kinds of 500—with that person included twice.

Just add a note at checkout so we know it’s intentional and won’t pause your order to check.
