Lamination:
Lamination requires additional setting time and, as such, is not typically available with our same-day service through our online platform. However, depending on our current print schedules, we might be able to accommodate same-day requests with lamination. Please call us directly to check availability for this service.

At Same Day Printing, we offer a range of fast printing options tailored to meet your deadline and budget needs.

The availability of turnaround times may differ depending on the printed product line you choose. For orders that include multiple printed items, that your job will be dispatched based on the item with the longest turnaround time. If you require some items more urgently, be sure to place them in separate orders to facilitate faster delivery, or call or email our friendly team and we would be happy to help you organise this.

Important Cut-Off Time Information:
Our services have a strict 10am cut-off each day, with the exception of emergency printing services. To meet the cut-off for production on any given day, the following conditions must be fulfilled by 10am:

  1. Payment must be received.
  2. Print-ready artwork must be uploaded or approved.

If you require assistance with your artwork or if it’s not print ready, your chosen turnaround time will commence once the artwork is approved. Please factor in this potential delay.

7 Business Days Dispatch Service: 10am Cut Off Time – Pay and supply print ready art by 10am for pickup/dispatch by COB in 7 business days. Orders confirmed after 10am will be available for pickup/dispatch by COB on the 8th business day.

At Same Day Printing, we offer a variety of design services to suit your specific needs. Remember, your selected “Turnaround” time starts from when your print-ready art is approved. Each design service comes with an estimated turnaround for the initial check/design and each revision. Please factor in this time if you’re working with a tight deadline. For example, if you need your items in 3 business days and require design services, you might need to opt for a Next Business Day print turnaround to accommodate the time needed for receiving, reviewing, and approving your design.

When you have only one item to print, simply select ‘1’ from the dropdown menu.

However, if you’re looking to print multiple sets of different artwork while keeping all other print and finishing specifications the same (such as size, stock, color, quantity, etc.), you might qualify for a quantity discount. In this case, you don’t need to process each artwork as a separate item. Instead, you can indicate how many different kinds or sets of artwork you have. For instance, if you have four different designs of postcards and you want 50 copies of each design, you would enter ‘Quantity: 50’ and ‘Kinds: 4’. After confirming your print order, if you are supplying print-ready art, you will be requested to upload each set of artwork separately. This approach is convenient and cost-effective when printing multiple designs with the same production and finishing specifications.

Freight costs are calculated at checkout after adding all print items to your cart.

Same Day Courier Delivery (Melbourne Metro):

  • Delivery is approx. 4 hours from dispatch*.

  • Cost: Melbourne CBD: $26. Other areas: Please ask us for a quote. (Based on up to an A4 box size, up to 20KG)

 

Next Business Day Courier

  • Next business day service to most metro areas throughout Australia.
  • From $15 depending on weight and location.

 

Road Express.

  • Standard road service throughout Australia. Turnaround can range from 2-7 days depending on location.
  • From $15 depending on weight and location.

 

UBER Direct – Melbourne Metro

If you need it sooner, try an UBER. If time is particularly short, we can organise an UBER delivery, or you can organise an UBER pick up from us.

Keep in mind:

  • Uber is not a standard courier service and you will need to be able to track the driver and meet them at the curb.
  • UBER prices vary dependent on dispatch time and date, travel time and any wait time at the delivery point, so if we are organising your UBER delivery, the estimated cost will be invoiced separately to your order, and requires payment via Credit Card prior to dispatch and someone to meet the driver at the street.
    If UBER charge is more than the estimate, the variation in cost will be charged to your credit card.
  • If you are organising an UBER pickup,
    • Select the Uber “Package” booking option
    • Include the Job Number and Business Name they are picking up for in the notes

*Same Day Courier is generally up to 4 hours from dispatch to the city or western suburbs, however delivery times do fluctuate with seasonal events and weather. Unfortunately, as with all courier solutions, we have no control over delivery once dispatched. If you require your delivery before COB or by a specific time we recommend pick-up or UBER. For interstate deliveries we can only guarantee to dispatch on time. While over 96% of our deliveries arrive on schedule, we cannot guarantee there will be no courier delays.

While we do not impose a minimum order quantity (MOQ), we have established a minimum order value (MOV). This approach ensures that we can comprehensively cover the costs involved in job processing, file handling, pre-press, printing, production, finishing, packing, equipment, and other overheads. These costs are consistent regardless of whether you order a single item or a thousand.

You’re welcome to enter a custom quantity for your order, but it’s worth noting that increasing your order volume can often be more cost-effective. As is typical in many industries, the unit price tends to decrease as the quantity increases, offering better value for larger orders.
