Our team at Same Day Printing are seeking for an experienced person to join our production team as a lead Print Finisher.
We are looking for someone who is creative, technically minded, highly motived, hungry to learn and would love to turn a printed sheet into a finished product that they are both proud of and our clients will absolutely love.
We don't just believe in making paper dirty with ink, we love to create something that will help add value to our clients worlds.
You will need to have the right ability and mindset for .
Work with modern digital printing and finishing equipment including, Uchida and Duplo creasers / cutters, Fully automated B3 laminator, Digital foiling & Sleeking, Rotary Die-cutting, Perfect Bound Hardcover & Softcover equipment, Digital Flatbed Cutter and other finishing equipment.
With in-house capability from design through to dispatch help our experienced and innovative team create more wins for our clients and our local multi award winning business.

While training will be provided and it is a learn on the job type role to begin with, for the right applicant we will look to supporting external training to obtain trade qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with our production team and assisting with the organisation of our clients print projects within our finishing department.
  • Set up and operation of our finishing equipment.
  • Hand finishing some of our clients printed projects.
  • Routine maintenance of finishing equipment.
  • Pack finished projects for despatch.
  • Maintain an organised and tidy workplace.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Mechanically minded
  • Self manage and highly motivated
  • Can play Tetris
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced team environment
  • Have an appetite to learn and continually improve
  • Aim to be the best at what you do.
  • A good sense of humour.
