Client Highlight – WestWaters Hotel & Entertainment Complex wins ‘Best Tourism and Hospitality Business’ 2012.

We love the fantastic things our clients are doing within the community, and this month we’d like to congratulate WestWaters Hotel and Entertainment Complex, winner of the ‘Best Tourism and Hospitality Business’ at the 2012 Powercor Shire of Melton Business Excellence Awards.

Located on the shores of Lake Caroline, WestWaters is the Western Suburbs premier conference and events centre. Unique for its fresh and open spaces, WestWaters offers entertainment for the entire family, including themed events, a heated outdoor dining area, conference and event spaces, and three restaurants, including the Sports Bar which features all-day betting, an outdoor EBT, and over 50 TV’s. Their Executive Chef endeavors to purchase all produce directly from the source to ensure fresh and creative dining for your enjoyment, whether you are hosting an event or simply enjoying a meal in the Café & Bar, the Sports Bar, or the Bistro. The Bistro features an a la carte menu, a Kid’s menu, and a children’s play area. WestWaters is fully staffed with a team experienced professionals who are ready to assist you in turning your function into an event to remember. Known as “a city style venue in the western suburbs”, you won’t find any other venue more versatile, refreshing, or comfortable for your needs.

Contribution to the community

As amazing as all that is, the overriding reason WestWaters won this award was because of its heart for, and its contributions to, the good of the community. The company does this primarily in two ways.

First is its dedication to the support of the children’s charity TLC for Kids which provides child-oriented “distractions” designed to nurture the emotional well-being of children hospitalised for medical treatment.

Second is the company’s Community Grant. West Waters and related business partners have invested a six-figure amount to fund the grant on a continuing basis. Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations needing assistance in providing services and infrastructure that directly benefit the community, especially those with an emphasis on the health, welfare, and development of local youth. Find out more about the Community Grant here.

Take a closer look

Whilst the complex opened in December 2010, the hotel has just celebrate the first anniversary of its opening as of April 1st. In that short time the company has received the Powercor Award and the Best Bistro Metropolitan awards.
